Louka Katseli

Louka Katseli (Greek: Λούκα Κατσέλη, , born 20 April 1952, Athens) is a Greek economist and politician. She is a former Minister for the Economy, Competitiveness and Shipping and a former Minister for Labour and Social Security. On 23 March 2015 she was elected as the new non-executive Chair of the Board in National Bank of Greece.〔 〕
==Early life and education==
Louka Katseli was born in 20 April 1952 in Athens, Greece. She is the daughter of Aleka Katseli, a Greek actress.
Louka Katseli graduated from the Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, in 1972, with a B.A. in Economics. In 1972, she entered the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs of Princeton University, in Princeton, New Jersey and in 1974 she graduated with the degree of Master of Public Administration. She continued her studies in Princeton University obtaining a Masters of Arts degree in Economics in 1975 and a Ph.D. in Economics in January 1978.
